Ski Mansfield

Went up the downhill trails and then skied the ridge to the top of Mansfield and then back on ridge to Nose Dive. Not as nice as last Sat and less snow so I had to take my skies off a few times on the ridge. There are a number of good downhill tracks. Can go down right at the hump about 2/3 across ridge or right off top angling down to right toward gondola. Some of the pictures below show these possibilities. Nose Dive still has a ton of snow on it.

First kayak of the year

After a very cold April suddenly it is 65 out. I got out on my bike and then went for the first kayak of the season. Started at the mouth of the Winooski river and it was very calm so I went out on the main lake. Nice temperature for paddling. The air was 65 and the water was 35 so it was comfortable for paddling.
