Burnt Rock Mountain

A sunny day after a stretch of typical VT November weather (cold and rainy).

Killington

It was a foggy day with temperatures in the 40's. Nice outing though. We didn't see anyone on the hike up and were alone at the top. We did go by about a dozen people on the way down. We went a little beyond the top to see the early season skiers coming off the gondola. With this hike Holly completed the VT 4000 foot mountains (Mansfield, Killington, Ellen, Abe, Camels Hump). A lot of green still with ferns and moss that hasn't been affected by the frost yet. One large tree near the trail that was hollow from the base up to a hole about 15 feet up the tree.

Stopped at Texas Falls and Warren Falls on the way back on Rt 100.
