Stowe - Mountain Road

 Skiing at Stowe. Actually pretty good in the woods and Hay Ride was in great shape top to bottom. Then a short walk to the river and waterfall near the ski area.

Hiking in the Notch

 Smugglers Notch walk up to Sterling Pond. It has been cloudy with temperatures right around freezing for about a week. Rain, frozen rain, a little snow. Still a good snow base in the mountains but likely firm. Today was very cloudy again with light frozen rain. A fair amount of ice and snow stuck to the trees from the past few days.

Next day at Stowe. Was it cloudy? Of course it was.

Bolton: Another fine day

 Another nice day at Bolton. Sun in the AM made for Nice views and lit up the trees covered in snow. Paradise Pass to White Rabbit then up Gardiners to George's Gorge. 

1/24/24: Stowe. Another couple of inches of new snow. National, National woods run of the day. Very cloudy with light snow off and on.
