End of May

 Still Spring at higher elevations but leaves are in and it is drifting toward summer down lower. Trails are fairly dry. While a lot of rain was predicted it hasn't been happening.

Northern Lights

 We got up at 2AM to see if we could see the Northern Lights. It was happening! Large bands appearing and disappearing and forming different shapes.

 The Smugglers Notch road is still closed for the winter. I went up to Sterling Pond and back. Lots of water making some nice waterfalls.
