Week of Spring

 It was warm all week with temperatures as high as 70 in the valley and 55 or so in the mountains. Biking has started to enter the schedule along side the skiing. Had two nice downhill days at Stowe. Still good snow but it is melting fast. They have a close date of April 18 but I don't think they will make it. The warm weather ended Friday with some heavy rain and a thunderstorm!

Biking was good but I left from the house which means pretty solid traffic until I got out to Shelburne and Charlotte. Seems like more traffic during the day now. Biking to the marina in Shelburne where there was some activity getting ready for summer. The problem with an early Spring is we will now have a 2 month mud season and it will get cold again.

Biking Charlotte area:

Mansfield, Balloons, Bolton

 Some very sunny blue sky days. Snow shoe up Mansfield. Long Trail from Smugglers Notch. Incredibly sunny and blue sky with views to Mt Washington.

Bolton on the middle to lower trails. Once again sunny and blue sky.

Hot air balloons at night near whales tail park. Not that exciting but good for an after dinner walk.
