Getting better

It got too warm last weekend to the point where snow shoeing was the activity last Sunday. It has been cold since but we needed some snow to cover the hard pack from the warm temperatures. We got that Tuesday night. Wednesday was Stowe and Thursday was Bolton. Both days better than expected. Everything I skied at Stowe was nice. The issue was that the steeper trails and most of the woods was too firm. I had a lot of runs in some less steep woods that was great and the groomers were fine (no ice). Bolton was better than expected and the back country trails were pretty good. Enough fresh powder to stay above the hard pack.

Forecast calls for 6-10 inches tomorrow. That would put it back to great!
