Snow was similar to yesterday. Pretty good! Today had the added benefit of sun and also some snow crystal rainbows in the AM. Always good to get out while you can as the forecast, if correct, will mean no skiing for a while.

Downhill - Day 1
Nice snow! A few more inches last night. No hard pack or ice. Limited trails meaning blue squares and no woods. Pretty good for a first day of the season. Comfortable temperatures between 15-25 I am guessing. Mostly cloudy.

Winter and snow
We had enough snow to make skiing good even though there was no base before the storm. It has stayed cold also and snowed a little more up in the mountains. Pretty nice at Hardack and also at Smugglers Notch. Wet snow fell with some nice snow on top making the skiing surprisingly good and also making for a good instant base.
