Long Trail South Lincoln Gap

Great blue sky hiking day. Temps in the 40's but sunny. Trails still icy but that has the way it has been for about 6 months now so I am getting used to it!
Went up Lincoln gap, which was closed, to the top where the Long Trail access is. The road up the gap was partially snow covered with some ice but not bad. Took the Long Trail South to Mt Grant. I had hiked up the Cooley Glen trail to Mt Grant recently so this completed the loop. Views of Mt Abe early on and Killington from Mt Grant. Nice trail with views through the trees most of the way since there are no leaves on the trees.
Nice day!
