Day 2 was also great weather so I went up from the other direction on the Appalacian Trail to Hamlin Mtn and Kathdin again. This trail had some nice waterfalls on it and has some steep areas but not like the day before. I ran into one person who was starting the AT going from Maine to Georgia. If you were ending the AT from Georgia the last 5 miles of the AT to Katahdin would be a great way to end it. This was about a 14 mile day. Yesterday's loop was about 10 miles. There is an impressive bowl, like tuckermans ravine, between Hamlin and Howes peak. Since I ended up at the top of Katahdin again there are some familiar pictures.
