Mid March

Great skiing continues. Decided to take some time off and managed to ski 4 days this week.
Today was a very nice day. It is supposed to get warm tomorrow and possibly transition to Spring skiing. Yesterday and today were winter with nice light powder. It snowed 8 inches Monday night. Tue was Stowe and today was Bolton. Bolton today was Big Blue, Paradise Pass, White Rabbit, A1A, and Alchemist. All in great shape and perfect morning. Nice sunrise driving there and sun and blue sky as the day got going.
Last Sunday was the Bolton friends event. I helped Hope take a group of 8 people for a tour. I think everyone had a good time with the possible exception of one person. Most of the group had AT gear. One person had x-country skis with edges and the route was somewhat beyond his ability. Hard to figure out who is "Intermediate" but I think it turned out well. Conditions were very good then and the last storm made it great.

Commute to Bolton

A few from Stowe: Snowing in the AM and some clearing in the afternoon.
Mid-winter temperatures.
