Skiing - back to great

It doesn't take much to turn things around. Thu night we got about 5 inches in the mountains. I went to Stowe Friday morning and it was really nice. Got many runs on the quad from 8:00 to 11:30 and then went to work.
Friday it snowed and snowed some more at night. Bolton on Saturday was amazing. Somewhere between 6 and 10 inches of snow depending on elevation. Nice medium to light powder. Not a lot of people there today. Skied fresh tracks all day. Some of the trails near the lodge like Big Blue and others off Gardners had no tracks. I went down Not a Trail to Big Blue and no one had been on either. Also went up to Stowe view and that loop and then came down White Rabbit. This was in great shape considering it is early season and fresh tracks the whole way. Then a run down Georges Gorge and that whole area. Long day but it was hard to leave!

And since it was so good I went back to do it again Sunday 12/8. Another great day but hit a substantial stick under the snow at about 3PM. That ended the day and will probably leave me in recovery mode for 3+ weeks? Sprained toe.
Went up on the Catamount trail toward Trapps early in the day and then did some laps in the Gotham woods area. Went up onto North Slope from gardiners the last two runs of the day and headed down from there in the woods. Nice area except for the stick.
