Bartram Forest - Millidgeville GA

Second time at this trail system mountain biking. Went on some new trails and found another pond. Many trails with the best single track near the parking lot. At one point I started on trail 16 from the power lines and worked my way down 15, 14, etc back to the starting point. Fun looping trails and mostly down for this route. Very little wind so great reflections on the ponds. 75 degrees today!

Great to visit Autumn and David.

Driving North tomorrow so this is likely my last 75 degree day for a long time!

Travel notes:

Took 86 and 88 back from Zelienople. It takes an extra hour but no traffic and no tolls. I think it is a good route.

Leaving Millidgeville to drive to PA: Right on 49, right on Allen Memorial Drive, 441. This first part is the way you would go to Baltram Forest. Then put Sandersville into GPS. This route keeps you on four lane roads. Good for early morning driving. Then follow GPS route to PA via Augusta. Take 485 around Charlotte instead of staying on 77. This is important, particularly anywhere near rush hour.
