Early winter continues

Saturday 12/1 at Bolton was another mid winter day with plenty of snow. It rained the next day Sunday but the mountains recovered fairly well with some new snow and still plenty of base. Pictures from Stowe on 12/5 following the Bolton pictures.

Ran into Paul and Kris at Bolton.

End of November

It has been the best Nov for skiing in many years. I made it out for a number of days back country at Bolton and went to Stowe 4-5 times. There was one rainy day last week but it promptly snowed a foot or more in the mountains to correct that problem. There was a week of nice winter snow and more recently a lot of snow but on the heavier side. Amazing conditions for this time of year. Stowe had many trails open off the quad including Star and National. I was skiing in the woods most days which is amazing for Nov. Lots of snowy days so hard to take pictures. Also hard to stop for pictures when the skiing is so good!

Hike up Mt Abe on the rainy day. It only rained in AM so hike was fine but foggy:
