It rained pretty hard with about 2-4 inches falling in VT with 5-7 falling in the mountains. Rivers are very high with flooding in Montpelier, Barre, and other towns, mostly South of here. Pictures of Lamoille River below. More water than I have ever seen in the river. Amazing power.
Biking: Lamoille Valley Rail Trail starting at Sheldon Junction and going East 15 miles. This was a new section for us. Just opened last year and is new surface which will get nicer as it gets packed down more. This is a rural stretch with some streams, swampy areas, hill views, and lots of undeveloped land. Nicer than the Swanton to Sheldon Junction section in my opinion.
