Kingsland Bay

The rain did come in as predicted on Friday and set the skiing back. Still a base, from what I hear, but we will need more snow before it is good again.
In the mean time it is below freezing again. Today was a nice sunny day. Good day for a walk at Kingsland Bay with very calm winds and blue sky.

Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. High near 54. Strong and damaging winds, with a south wind 70 to 75 mph decreasing to 60 to 65 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 100 mph. More skiing...

Stowe was great again today. Got some fresh snow on Monday night. All the lifts except the triple were closed Tue due to high winds. Today it was windy but nothing out of the ordinary. Nice snow in the woods and on the trails. Rain in the forecast for the weekend so I should probably go again tomorrow.
