Lamoille Valley Rail Trail - Mansfield

They finished a section of the Lamoille Valley Rail trail that goes from Sheldon to Swanton. We rode from St Albans via the Missisquoi rail trail and connected with the LVRT after 9.5 miles. We then rode on the new section toward Swanton. Swanton, where the bridge and the small RR museum is, is another 10.5 miles. So, 20 miles one way to Swanton. A fair amount of shade on this route in the AM. Eventually the LVRT will be 93 miles. Once they finish the section between Sheldon and Jeffersonville we will be able to go for a multi day ride on the trail. This section only has 1.5 miles done at this point.

Other than that another week of biking and hiking. Pretty good weather. Not to hot.

Early June - Vermont

Mostly nice weather the last few weeks. Highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. Mostly biking and walking/hiking. Trying to do more things from the house since gas is $5.00 and likely headed higher. Biking has been mostly North in St Albans, Swanton, and one ride near Lake Carmi.
