This was a two week trip to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

8-30
525 miles. Burlington VT->Moncton NB. About as far as I ever want to go in one day. Followed rt 2 all the way to 95. Lunch at nice river in maine near end of rt 2.
Staying at irving big stop. Just like western truck stop. Diner and subway. Article said
there may be northern lights sat night or sunday night.

Irving Big Stop has a number of truck stops in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia

8-31
Magnetic hill. Moncton New Brunswick. A strip of road that looks like a hill going up. When you get to the bottom of the hill you put your car in neutral and then the car roles up the hill. It is an optical illusion and pretty interesting. They said it was the third most visited tourist attraction in Canada! Hard to believe. I was there early in the AM so no one was around.
Went to the zoo that is in the Magnetic Hill area. Lots of animals but many from warm climates and I wonder what they do with them in the winter? They had bears, zebras, lions, lots of other big cats, monkeys, flamingos, and many other animals.
Drove to Fundy nat park in the afternoon which isn't far from Moncton. Walked along shore. Beaches. Waterfall.
Low tide at sunset. Boats sitting in mud.
Trails: Mathews head. Herring cove beach. Dickson falls.
A lot happened in one day!
