A nice barrier island just South of Ocean City MD. Wild horses roaming around, crabs on the beach and in the water, and lots of birds. We went on a number of hiking trails. Some were board walks over marsh, a dune trail, and a few forest trails. Found a shady trail around 1PM that kept us out of the sun. Long Beach that is accessible on either end by car and then nothing but walking in between. One walk was the site of a salt plantation that had 1700 acres at one point. Nice brick house with large garden that used shells for the walk ways.
