Two to three miles of ocean beach with a board walk running along the length just back from the beach. Every shop for food, kites, souvenirs you could imagine. Amusement park rides at one end.
Nice visit with Holly's family. March and Mike and family are on the bay side near the bridge. Autumn and David are on the ocean side on 6th Street. Great dinner with pulled pork, venison, and chicken tacos. Watermelon salad and all the fixings. This was tue night.
We played pickleball the first two mornings and then walked around the beach and boardwalk. Nice pickleball courts that surprisingly were not busy. Fun playing with everyone! Everything else is pretty busy with college and/or high school groups on the beach.
Staying at Sun Outdoors Frontier Town campground. Don't come back here! Very large crowded park with small sites right next to many neighbors. Not very clean and it isn't the parks fault necessarily but it attracts a loud group that doesn't always want to leave their camp site to walk a short distance to the bathrooms. Enough said! The National Seashore may be a camping option? Pit toilets and outdoor showers but sites are more reasonable. Maybe Assateague State Park which we did not go to?
