Three different walks today on a bright sunny day. Right around 30 degrees and comfortable once we got out into the sun.
Bradbury Mountain State Park: It was Sunday and pretty busy at this park today. Not exactly sure why. It has nice woods trails and Bradbury mountain which is a small mountain with distant views of the ocean. Probably not worth driving to since there are many areas closer to home that are just as nice.
Wolf's Neck Woods State Park: We have been here before but always very nice. Short walk to the ocean and then you can expand the walking from there. The ocean view is out to a number of islands and interesting rock on the shore. A good place to go any time of the year.
Tidebrook Preserve: This was new to us. It appears to be someone's house and land that they graciously allow people to walk on. Three main loops of trails along the Harraseeket river. The river is a tidal area and it appeared to be near low tide when we were there. There is also a river feeding into it that cuts across the land. The house is an old large farm house with a field that goes down to the river.
We stopped at Pineland Farms for a late lunch on the way home. Nice place to eat and also many trails here also which we did not go on this time around.
Bradbury MTN SP. You could see the ocean in the distance from the top of this small mountain.
