We took the Upper Liberty Cap Trail about 3 miles to Otto's Trail. The Upper Liberty Cap Trail isn't all that interesting but Otto's trail goes out on the other side of Monument Canyon. The trail has flat areas with pot holes and areas of red sand stone pools. Good views into Monument Canyon from a different perspective. This turned into 9 miles RT. These are trails less traveled. We went with a group but did not see many other hikers.
