Gooseberry Trail - Canyonlands

 This is a steep one! One of those trails where you are looking off a cliff area and wonder how the trail will get you down. This trail starts at the top of Canyonlands and goes down to the valley floor. This is actually just one level of valley. The trail follows a wash for about 1.5 miles to White Road where you are on the edge of another canyon that goes down another thousand feet. Interesting trail and the first and last mile are tough. There are also a few exposed areas where you need to pay attention. A lot of the steep part is loose rock. Great views the whole time.
