We have been here before and hope to be here again. This trail follows the Gunnison River for the first mile and then heads up a canyon that has a creek that usually has running water. It looked like it rained a fair amount here last week. Waterfalls, canyon walls, petroglyphs, and water access. Something to see all the time. We went about a half mile beyond the newspaper rock for a total of 7 miles. There are two other trails to try in this area some day.
