Baxter State Park - 3

On this day I started from the roaring brook area and went by Sandy Pond to South Turner mountain. I didn't see anyone on South Turner and only ran into one person at Sandy Pond which is a very clean pond with lots of ducks and looked like the type of place that would attract a Moose. At the end of the day I hiked into Katahdin Lake which has canoes to take out if desired. This is a larger lake and again very clean.
