This is a nice hike. The Champney Falls trail to Chocorua mountain. Lots of nice waterfalls and a large open rock area at and around the top. It is 3500 feet but feels like an above tree line mountain. This isn't far away from Whiteface where I was yesterday. I could see Chocorua from Whiteface and today we could see Whiteface and Pasaconoway. This mountain has 360 views so you could see mount Washington and many other peaks in the area. Trail was good but more wet and muddy than yesterday. But with all the rain wet and muddy is to be expected. 7.5 miles RT.
