Whiteface, East Sleeper NH

Went to the Ferncroft trailhead and the Blueberry Ledge trail. It has a rained a lot lately, including 1-2 inches the day before, but this trail was in great shape. Dry for the most part and the steep ledges up higher were dry rock. Nice sunny day which was great since it has been a while. After the top of Whiteface I went on a seldom used trail to East Sleeper. This is a 3,855 foot mountain. No views but getting there was interesting. Lots of moose poop on the trail and a swamp/pond area up at 3500 feet. This trail (Kate Sleeper Trail) eventually goes to Tripyramid. A rough trail with lots of downed trees  A long hike at 11 miles RT but nice day to be out there. The rivers I went by were running high!
