Willey, Field, Tom

Three 4000 footers that are in Crawford Notch. The hike starts with a very nice waterfall (Ripley Falls). There are good views looking back toward Webster and the Presidential range.

There were a number of Gray Jays that got very close in this one clearing near Mt Tom. They were eating out of peoples hands and flying and hopping close to me. I saw another bird that wasn't worried about humans near Field. Not sure what type of bird that one was.

A nice hike even though the mountains are not popular and are not known for their views. 12 mile day.
