Belvidere and Devils Gulch

Parked at Eden's crossing long trail parking lot and went in both directions. First up Belvidere and then over to Devils Gulch and Spruce Ledge Camp.

Belvidere is a short 5 mile RT to the top of a mountain with a fire tower. You can see the large asbestos mine from the top and I could even see a talus pile from the Spruce Ledge Camp which is about 5 miles away. Devils Gulch is an interesting area of jumbled rocks with cliffs on both sides. Ritterbush pond is also a short detour off of the LT and is a nice pond with a trail that goes around it.

It was nice to look back on Belvidere and where I was hiking in the AM from the Spruce Ledge Camp.  A nice cool day. Perfect for a walk in the woods. The day was 11 miles.

Driving back to Johnson.

This is a small piece of the Long Trail in Johnson from the Johnson parking area to the Lamoille river. I didn't do this part the other day when I started from the other side of the river so I though I would check it out today.
