Acadia NP - day 2

 I decided to go on lesser known trails this morning. I only saw one other person on the first three walks. Cloudy until 10:00 and 55. Sunny and close to 70 as the day went on.

Dorr Point. A short walk by the remains of the Dorr mansion and then out to an area of oceanfront:

Mansion remains:

Next was Hunter Beach and Day Mountain. Hunter Beach is a nice walk and a nice beach area. There are also some cliff areas above the ocean. Hunter Beach is a good one! Day mtn wasn't too exciting but the trail crosses some of the carriage roads so I got a look at them. These would be good for gravel biking.

Seal Harbor:

Azalea Gardens:

Northeast Harbour:

Parkman mtn and Bald peak. Nice tree colors. Good views of Somes Sound. Sunny and 70 at this point. Not bad for October!

Echo Lake. End of day;

Moon from the van. Not a good picture but surprised camera could do anything. It is dark out!
