Skiing Day 1 - Stowe

 Amazing day particularly when you consider it is November! About 10 inches of snow yesterday. Nose Dive, Center Line, Hay Ride and other trails skiing well. Some powder turns today. A lot better than I thought it would be in terms of snow and terrain. A little off and on snow during the day. It looks like winter continues with more snow in the coming week. I hope so.

Georgia Town Forest

12-1-23 - Bolton. A little too warm. Good first day out and enough snow but it will not last long unless it gets colder

Stowe: They opened up pretty much everything. 8 inches of heavy snow with a few more inches during the day. Nose Dive, National, Lift line were a few I skied. Quickly got tired as the snow was a lot of work. You could see but not far as it kept snowing while I was there.

A Look at Winter

 Went up the long trail to Adams Apple and a little above that. Started from the Jeffersonville side of the closed notch road. Nice rime ice up higher. It started out blue sky sunny and turned to clouds later. Maybe 30 degrees up higher?

Mid Nov continued

 It has been pretty cold. Cold enough for snow but we only got a little. Not enough for skiing yet.
