Hilton Head - mid week

It was a slower rest day today. It was cold with lows about 45 when we got up and highs around 60. Lots of sun.

We started at Burkes Beach. A nice wide sandy beach with some good size waves today. There is a new development behind some of it which comes with a long boardwalk that goes over a wetland. We saw what appeared to be baby ibis?

Then a quick stop at Zion cemetary. There was a chapel here in the late 1700's. Some large live oaks and a moseleam.

Then we walked around the shelter cove area with the veterans park, the marina, and Disney. Sunny Fall walking. It is supposed to be 65 or so tomorrow so maybe some biking?

Not a lot of birds out today with the temperature drop.

One of the signs says South Burlington! 1251 miles away. Sounds about right.
