Okefenokee by land

We had a boat trip scheduled for 2PM so we walked some of the trails in the AM. A board walk, a homestead house, and some other land trails. Warm today at 80 but reasonable for walking at a slower pace. Holly spotted a snake and we also saw lizards, alligators, and a number of different birds.

Sunrise driving:

Okefenokee swamp:

This pond had a number of alligators. A few youths and about six adults.

Rat snake?

I took this one through the view finder of a public telescope. Not great but surprised it worked. There were many turtles in the distance.
