A pretty interesting drive. Up through the Canyon to Flagstaff and then North through Monument Valley. Also saw Wilson Arch and a number of other rock features from the road. We got to Moab with plenty of time to walk along the Colorado River. We did this from the hotel which is on the bike path.

Two more nice hikes today. The first was a 5 mile loop around the red rock mountains starting from the Chapel. Another trail with changing views the whole way. Chicken Point is a high area with views all around. There are also some strange red rock formations coming out of smooth white rock areas. Hard to explain. There was also a cave or mine that we could not see the bottom of. The route was Chapel trail to Chicken Point to Broken Arrow to Hogwash to Mystic.
The afternoon was Jacks Canyon trailhead. This was another 5 mile loop going up to the Rabbit Ears rock formation. Lots of other mountains to see including Courthouse Butte. There was some volcanic rock in the area that broke up into lots of small pieces in certain areas of the trail. This trail was quiet. We saw a few people and maybe two other cars in the parking lot. Not typical for Sedona. The loop was Rabbit Ears trail to Big Park Loop to Little Rock.
