Cathedral Rock is a classic Sedona hike. You can continue after the Trail End sign to an amazing spot where you can sit near a rock spire surrounded by red rock walls. This is one of the vortex sites. We got there first thing in the morning which worked out well for lighting and parking.
After that we went to the Chapel Of The Holy Cross. An amazing architectural chapel built into the red rock walls. It is in a great location surrounded by red rock walls. There is a bird and madonna and baby and praying hands that you can see in the surrounding rock if you use your imagination a little.
