Today was mostly a travel day back to Maine. We were able to stop at Cascade Lake and then climb Mt Hoevenberg in the AM. It was smoky today so the views were limited. The Mt Hoevenberg trail is well maintained. Lots of rock work to keep the trail from eroding. You can tell that on a clear day there are great views at the top looking out to the high peaks. Four miles round trip. We then watched some indoor bobsled training which was interesting.
