Sedona - day 3

The hikes today were the best so far. AM hike was Bear mountain. This hike went up through multiple levels of rock. Through red rocks and then to a different yellow rock on the top. 360 views. Could see some tall snow capped mountains to the NE. Too far away for pictures.

the second part of the day was  Fay  canyon. For future reference this was better than Boynton canyon. After the trail ended you could keep going up into the back of the canyon. All kinds of strange rock formations literally over head.

I went up Doe mountain at the end which was short but had nice views of Bear mountain (earlier hike).

Still cold getting out of the tent in the morning. Around 25 degrees. Once the sun comes out it heats up fast. Perfect hiking temps most of the day.
