Quoddy Head State Park

It started out light rain going to mist and then clearing around 12:00. We started at the Cobscook Bay trail network at Red Point. Nice temperature for walking and mist wasn't a problem. These trails are very well done! Screened in buildings to hang out in, very well maintained trails, and almost no one using them.

In the afternoon we went to Quoddy State Park and walked along the shore trail. Mostly up above the ocean looking down although there are places to walk out on the rocks and access the beach. This is rocky rough Maine coast. Also a wet and boggy area in places. Most places! We had some sun! The trail looks out into Fundy Bay and you can see all of Grand Manan island from one area.

In the late afternoon we went to Old Farm Point back at the Cobscook network. A short walk to a screened in building with tables and chairs. Some reading and general relaxing.

  1. Always good to get to the ocean. Love the screened houses that allow you to kick back, read and relax. Enjoy!
