Hopewell Rocks, PEI

A brief description before each section of photos:

Bouctouche: Morning walk on boardwalk

Drive to Hopewell Rocks

Hopewell Rocks. An interesting place with rocks sculpted by large tide changes. There is a very large area of mud flats in the area. Reddish muddy water. It was 85 driving there and then 70 at Fundy Bay.

Mud flats

Moncton area

PEI. Lots of potatoe farms in red soil

PEI Cavendish area

Beach is red and white sand stone. St least it looks like sand stone. Also areas of white salt on some of the red rock.

Bronze statue of a fisherman in the water. Also saw two Osprey? in town when we were getting groceries.

Home for two days. Shining Waters Cottages.

A long day but a good one! Rain in forecast for tomorrow so we did what we could while we could do it.
