Staying at Megunticook Campground in Rockport. Today we went to Mt Battie via Mt Battie trailhead. This has a stone tower and great views of the ocean and Camden from many lookouts. Steep trail that gets you to views quick. Then we went on to more ocean views near Megunticook mountain. Nice trail with plenty of view points. 5 miles RT. Then lunch at the waterfront in Camden. Walked around the harbor and then went to Curtis Lighthouse overlook. Very short walk to bench overlooking the ocean and an island with the Curtis lighthouse. Nice spot and no one was there on July 5! Then to Aldermere Farm. One mile RT walk in woods to ocean rocky beach. Given all the other things today this one is nice but not worth repeating.
