This hike has three areas that are very different. The first mile is a giant field of rock. Then into an area of white and red sandstone towers. Then into a canyon that looks like Utah. Some waterfalls, pools, and caves in this area. It had rained the past two days so I picked this one because it is mostly rock. That turned out to be mostly true. There was some slippery red mud in spots near where I turned around. This was 7 miles RT with 1500 feet of elevation change. The elevation at the start was 6500 so cooler which might be nice in the summer. You could start at Little Park Trailhead, I think, and hike up into this area. I went down first and then up. There were a few other trails I ran into and I think, maybe, you can get to Lunch Loops eventually. People do bike this trail with the first 2 miles being possible and then it gets beyond my abilities for biking.
