Welcome To Colorado

I fit as much into one day as I could today. I stopped a lot and detoured to see as much of the Rockies as I could during the drive. Highlights were Loveland Pass and Lake Dillon but everything was good on a perfect blue sky day. I arrived in Fruita around 5:00 and walked the neighborhood around sunset. Better Fall foliage here than New England! Mostly because of the drought in the East. I took a short walk around the neighborhood and saw a number of deer. Around 60 in the mountains today and 80 in Fruita. Tomorrow is a rest day?

The total trip ME->CO was 2480 miles. No significant problems and I managed to walk somewhere for an hour each day. All good!
