Another trail access area SW of Fruita. Nice 6.5 mile loop in the desert walking by a number of different canyons. There are other trails that can be accessed from this trailhead.
You can get to the Rattlesnake Arches trail from this trail (see R1 sign in pictures below). Rattlesnake Arches is a 15 mile RT hike to some arches that I hope to go on some day. Needs to be cool as this is open desert.
