Valley of the Gods - Utah

Valley of the Gods is a 17 mile dirt road that loops around a number of monument type rock features. The road was fine for us today in a car but you need to pay attention to the weather. We went on a short hike in one area and saw an interesting wave design petroglyph. There are many hiking paths here and you could easily spend the day walking among the rock formations.

Moki Dugway and Gooseneck SP are also included in this post.

Moki Dugway: A steep dirt road heading 3 miles up to the top of a canyon. Built as a mining road. You can look down into Valley of the Gods.

Also in the area is Gooseneck SP. This is really a view point area of the San Juan River. The river winds around twice in the canyon it created. Hard to grasp it with pictures as it covers a large area.
