This was a great hike. The petroglyphs were better than expected and we saw a cliff dwelling on our hike out that was not expected.
We did not stop at Sand Island Petroglyphs. We were running out of time. We talked to the ranger at Hovenweep about this site and we should go to it someday.
We stopped in Bluff very quickly to see a fort built by people who arrived by wagon. An interesting story about wagon travel and exploration at the time. This place was well done and is probably worth going to again when we have more time to check it out.
