VT to UT

A lot of effort to get from VT to UT. 2600 miles and 3 days. Should have taken another day but pushed it since it is early in the trip. Went out on highway 80 to 76 in Nebraska to 70. Not a lot to see in 80 and it goes close to a number of large cities. A lot of fields in day 2 which also had a 30-40 mph winds most of the day. Stayed at truck stops in the way out which is pretty convenient. Just below freezing both nights. The last day was interesting on 70 through the Rockies and through some interesting areas in utah.
Lots of cameras on the road ways. Not sure what they are there for.
Coming from VT I will say the driving is crazy in the US and gets worse in cities and further West where the speed limit is as high as 80. Saw people driving 90 in heavy traffic near cities. I guess living in a city makes waking up the next day a low priority. The signs in utah said 18 people died on the roads in february. Surprised there are not a lot more. Saw one pretty bad accident with a truck.
Tomorrow is a Day of rest.
