Made it a day late. Hurricane was far enough East that St Andrews got wind and not much rain. By the time I got there at 2pm it was windy but nothing crazy. Some gusts to 40. Calmed down fairly quickly.
Campground has oceanfront and woods tent sites. I went for woods. Trail access right from the woods tent sites to access town and ocean. Nice place to walk around and look at the ocean. Also some well kept old buildings to see.
Plenty of walking options just outside of town but I didn't have time. Also a man made bird pond near the campground with many birds. Just a half day here and then hopefully to Grand Manan tomorrow.
