This is a strange park with a free range hiking philosophy. Walk wherever, whenever. There are trails but there are large areas where you can just roam. We hiked to two fairly large caves, called Goblin Lair's, at this park. Then wandered around the Goblins which are in a large area. There are higher green/white mountains above them in places. We saw three Pronghorn antelope like creatures. Different. Some flowers and grasses but mostly just rock, dirt, and sand. Endless Goblins. This is a dark sky location but our weather has been cloudy for the most part. We saw some stars last night, and the moon, but no clear open sky yet. This park is remote!
