Kodachrome Basin

A very nice uncrowded park. Different than other places we have been recently. This park has a lot of sand chimneys. The best hike was the first one. Panarama trail with Cool Cave loop. Cool Cave was very cool! One of the highlights of this trail was a Condor coasting around above us. He/she went pretty close above us when we first saw it. Pictures are from further away.  The visitor center has ice cream and some very comfortable hanging lounge chairs. Also a climbing wall and no one around using any of it.

We also went on Angels Palace trail and Shakespeare Sentinel Trail. There was an arch that collapsed in 2019 on the Sentinel Trail. Both very good and different from each other. Great place to spend a day and it appears to be a great place to camp. This place is well run!

Finally on the way home we stopped at Mossy Cave trail which is on route 12 but part of Bryce. Very nice river, some small arches, and a big waterfall. All this in a 1 mile RT trail!
