It snowed 3-4 last night and then sun in the AM. Turned cloudier in the afternoon but a very nice day. Started on some groomers on Peak 10 which had a light coating of snow on top of the groomed trail. Very easy floaty turns. Then into the woods where the new snow was great. I was able to find powder turns all day in the woods Peak 10 and all over the Peak 6 area. I like Peak 6! Lots of big open areas to explore. Also went to the upper mountain via the T bar. Good skiing to skiers left.
Was going to go to Beaver Creek today but decided to stay close due to road conditions. Roads were not bad but Beaver Creek is I70 and lots of cars.
I learned today that you can stay overnight at the Breckenridge airport parking lot. Could be useful info for a night or two in the future? I have been parking there and taking short, 2 mile, bus ride to gondola.
