Keystone - Blue Sky Day

I decided to take the more scenic route from Denver this AM since it was a beautiful day. Up through Loveland pass and went by A-Basin. Memories of hiking and traversing out at the top of Loveland pass to ski many years ago. Also A-Basin memories.

Keystone was a nice start of the trip place to go. Perfect clear blue sky and nice packed powder. Hassle free parking here and nice lifts to get you up fast. Spectacular views of the surrounding mountains. You could see Breckenridge. Also lots of hike to ski at Keystone. I didn't do it today as I am working into skiing after 3 days driving. Also some nice woods skiing. Very nice to be able to see everything today. I skied here last year and it was a cloudy snowy day.

It was cold in the AM but heated up fast in the intense sun. People were out sun bathing by noon. Still stayed below freezing though so winter snow conditions which I am happy about at this point in the trip.
